This is grounds for a change

Ever since I took over as director of our heating business branch, I’ve had a lot of trouble with the employees, i’ve been here for 3 years, plus some of the other employees have been here for 10, then they are not cheerful that I was promoted before some of them.

I understand that can cause a lot of personal problems, however I still expect all of our heating business professionals to perform their job to the best of their ability.

It’s been about 10 weeks since I took over the branch, plus I still have a handful of employees that want to buck the system, but our corporate office has gained 6 complaints in the past 3 weeks, all on the same employee. I spoke with the employee about the complaints, plus I also explained that this is grounds for dismissal, and honestly, I hoped the employee would have some reason or excuse for all of the awful comments, much to our surprise, he looked at myself and others with a smug grin plus said so what. I was entirely surprised plus shocked, plus I think it took a few seconds for the response to register, but at that point, I felt that the heating business employee left myself and others no choice, however to terminate his position with our business. I immediately fired the heating professional, plus I walked him directly from our office to his vehicle. I did not even let him wash out the heating business work truck, but every heating business employee watched as I escorted Tim from the property. I hope the other employees will realize that I’m drastic about things increasing, especially now that I have fired someone.
