That was a big issue in the house

I figured that if I kept up with the correct maintenance of the oil furnace and A/C, I wouldn’t need to worry about energy waste or issues with comfort or air quality.

I’ve enrolled in a proactive maintenance system with a local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C corporation, a worker comes to the house every fall and Springtime to inspect, wash and adjust the heating and cooling equipment! Because of this, I expect the system to operate reliably, then unfortunately, last summer time I ended up paying super high utility bills, the A/C ran all day long, consumed a tremendous amount of electricity however couldn’t keep up with demand.

The house felt hot and clammy. Turning the control unit down didn’t result in a perfectly comfortable home. It just put more strain on the cooling system, but plus, the cool air smelled horribly musty. There was a good deal of dust and other contaminants blowing around in the air and party on surfaces! My family complained of headaches and sore throat, but when I finally called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C corporation for repair, I expected an issue with the A/C. Instead, the ductlabor turned out to be the cause of all our complaints. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C worker found leaks at the seams, small holes throughout the system and an excess accumulation of debris, he recommended a complete duct cleaning and sealing process. I was relieved that these services didn’t require cutting into the walls of the home. The worker used specialized unit to access the entirety of the duct system without disfigure, mess or disruption. The cleaning system looked a lot like an industrial sized vacuum cleaner. It discottaged stubborn contaminants and sucked everything up. The sealing process involved shooting pressurized air and adhesive particles into the ducts. The job was completed in a single day and totally solved all the issues with the A/C.
